Fairview
- The location of the house is 400 metres along a path from the southeast corner of the main campus, 700 metres from the Llanbadarn Campus. One mile into town. My family home for ten years.
- The house is for six students, including two bedrooms on the ground floor. The large kitchen diner and the conservatory are the communal rooms. Most students opt for a second fridge rather than a dishwasher, and l am willing to supply whatever is required, within reason.
- Mostnof the rooms are enormous by modern standards apart from one smallish downstairs bedroom. The house is now double glazed since Jan 2004 and well insulated - floor and attic, and all heating and water (and tumble drier) is on off peak rate electricity (1/3rd normal rate). This keeps the bills reasonable.
- The house has one bathroom with WC, one separate WC, one separate shower and one Shower room with WC. No ensuites but front bedrooms have handbasins.
- Broadband wired to each bedroom. Tenants responsible for ISP and telephone line.
- The rent is £56.00 per week per person, which includes microwave oven, washing machine, tumble drier, fridge freezer, and 2nd fridge, patio and garden furniture, gardening and grass cutting. Smoke detectors and extinguishers.
- So the total rent for each person will be £2912 for the year.
- Water rates and electricity bills are not included.
